Gift bags are the fastest way to wrap awkward shapes, fragile items and last-minute gifts. Value sets that mix small, medium, large and extra-large bags cover most needs; add tissue paper so the gift is hidden.
Look at the handles and the bottom. Rope or ribbon handles are stronger than thin paper ones, and a reinforced base stops heavier gifts from tearing through. Fabric and heavy paper bags can be reused for years.
Gift boxes give clothing and flat items a clean shape for wrapping, or look finished on their own with a lid and ribbon. Nesting box sets in graduating sizes store compactly and make a nice presentation for a special gift. Store reusable bags flat in a box or organizer so they stay crisp.
Add gift tags so nothing gets mixed up, and top bags with a bow from our ribbons and bows guide. For traditional wrapping, see wrapping paper.
